Located in the Clearview section of Queens, the new house is built as a replacement reusing the old house foundation. Many homes in the neighborhood were built around 1950 in Tudor style.

New house maximizes the zoning envelope to create higher ceiling heights at both levels of the house. Building envelope is designed to achieve maximum energy efficiency. Split heat pump systems provide cooling and heating for the building. Fresh air ventilation system, window shading devices and energy efficient windows provides maximum indoor comfort. Roof mounted solar panels make the building nearly energy self-sufficient. Completed building is to achieve a “Energy Star Certification.
