PS 46Q Addition

This new addition includes classrooms, offices, special education facilities, a cafeteria, and a kitchen to increase capacity at the existing primary school. The building envelope is made of tilt-up prefabricated concrete panels, which are extremely energy efficient, cost effective, and quick to build. Acid washing stained concrete panels results in a beautiful color gradient from panel to panel. The front entry plaza's concrete panels are stained green and feature an etched silhouette of an oak tree. The tree silhouette pattern is also etched into the foyer glass panels, creating a distinct entrance for the school.
