Mount Sinai - Bank Building, New York

Originally constructed in 1923 as the Mechanics and Metals National Bank, the building is located at the intersection of Second Avenue and 14th Street. As part of the NYEE relocation project, executive offices, a large Education Room, and associated support staff spaces will be relocated into the renovated bank building. All four floors of the building underwent a full renovation.

The large Education Room is located on the south side of the first floor, where expansive south-facing windows bring in abundant natural light. Generous floor-to-floor heights allow for a custom folding wood ceiling that enhances the space and provides direct street views. The third floor houses executive private offices, a conference room, and the Hospital President’s office. The private offices are intentionally compact, featuring wood finishes, adjustable lighting, and wall-mounted computer screens to create comfortable and ergonomic workspaces.
